FAQ – Managing Students and Parents

Parents can link themselves to their child using a combination of a unique code and the child’s date of birth. The unique code is sent when the school or child center invites the parents to start using Kwieb.

How many parents can be linked to a student?

Up to 4 parents or guardians can be linked to a student using their Ziber IDs. The school can send multiple invitations per student to allow several people to link to the same student.

Can the unique student code be used multiple times?

No, each parent or guardian receives their own unique code.

Can a parent link multiple children using one Ziber ID?

Yes, that is no problem.

Can a parent with children at different schools (that use Kwieb) use one account?

Yes. The parent has one Ziber ID and can link multiple children from different schools to the same account.

How can I check if a parent is linked to a student?

In Ziber Team, you can view in the student management section whether any parents are linked to a student. If no parents are shown, it likely means the parent has not yet accepted your invitation. You can resend the invitation via email or by printing a letter.
