IMPORT – EDEXml File into Ziber

The EDEXml file exported from your student administration system (LAS) can be imported into Ziber Team. This imports data for team members, groups, and students, which Ziber uses to create groups and assign the correct students to them.

Tip: Always select ALL groups and ALL students when exporting from your LAS to ensure a complete EDEXml file.

How Do I Import the EDEXml File?

1. Log in to the desktop version of Ziber (this function is not available in the mobile app).

2. From the dashboard, tap Settings.

3. Go to the Synchronizations section.

4. Choose Import EDEXml File (Edex-bestand kiezen).

5. Click Select File and choose the EDEXml file you previously exported from your LAS.

Re-uploading the EDEXml File (Overwrite)

You can re-upload the EDEXml file at any time. Any changes in the file will be applied during the new upload. For example, you can update the student list or change teacher assignments to specific groups.

Important: Always upload the complete school file, including ALL GROUPS, ALL STUDENTS, and ALL TEACHERS. Do not upload a partial selection.
