EXPORT – EDEXml File from Parnassys and/or Esis

If your school wants to use Kwieb, you will need an EDEXml file. This file contains information about your school's students. This information is required to "create" the students in the Ziber platform.

You can easily export the EDEXml file yourself from your Student Information System (SIS).

Below are instructions for exporting the EDEXml file from the three most commonly used SIS providers.

ESIS

1. Log in to your ESIS account.

2. Navigate to the export section of your SIS.

3. Select EDEXML 2.0 as the export format, choose ‘do not include’ for the Citizen Service Number (BSN), and click Next.

4. Click on the link that appears to download and save the file.

ParnasSys

1. Log in to your ParnasSys environment.

2. Go to the export section.

3. Choose the option "Generate EDEX file (all students)".

Tip: In ParnasSys, when exporting, choose the option "EDEX & UWLR (legacy formats)" under the Export menu.

Eduscope

1. Log in to your Eduscope system.

2. Go to the Group Selection tab.

3. Select all groups.

4. Click Export to save the file.

Next Step: Importing into Ziber Team

Once you have successfully exported the EDEXml file, you can import it into Ziber Team.

Tip

When new team members join your school or new students enroll, they also need to be added to the Ziber platform via the EDEXml export. Always export all students from all groups with each update.
