ESIS Data Integration – What Data Is Exchanged?
Ziber offers a secure data integration with ESIS (Rovict), enabling automatic transfer of relevant data from ESIS to the Ziber platform. This article outlines the types of data exchanged and how it is processed within the Ziber system.

What Data Is Transferred from Ziber to ESIS?
ESIS does not support the ability to process or receive data from the Ziber platform.
How Is the Data Processed on the Ziber Platform?
New students are automatically added (up to 3 months before they start school / turn 4 years old).
Graduated students are automatically removed.
Parent email addresses are prepared for invitation to the Kwieb app.
Group assignments are synchronized, including updates.
Students assigned to multiple groups are also included in a combined group.
Teacher names and group assignments are imported and kept up to date.
Advantages Over Manual EDEXML Import
Enhanced Security
You no longer need to manually export and manage EDEXML files. This integration ensures a direct and secure connection between ESIS and Ziber, with no third-party involvement. You maintain full control over the operation of the integration.
Groups and Combination Groups
Unlike the standard EDEXML import, this integration not only imports combination groups but also the individual groups themselves. This simplifies communication for school teams, allowing them to easily share information with the correct group(s) of parents via Ziber Team and the Kwieb app.
Instruction Groups
During data import, you have the option to choose whether or not to include instruction groups. By default, this option is disabled but can be enabled manually.
Children Starting School Soon
Are there children already entered into ESIS who will start school within 3 months? These students will automatically be included in Ziber via the integration. You can then decide whether to invite their parents to Kwieb, directly from Ziber Team.
Note: These new students will not be automatically placed in the correct group until they turn 4. You can manually assign them to a group to ensure their parents can be reached. [Refer to this article for how to manually assign students to a group.]
Parent Email Addresses
The integration also automatically prepares Kwieb invitations for parents by importing their email addresses. With the manual EDEXML import, this process had to be done entirely by hand.
