Disabling Imported Groups

This article explains how to disconnect yourself from imported groups within the Ziber Team app.

Accessing Group Management

1. Open the Ziber Team app.

2. Tap your profile photo in the top-right corner.

3. Select Profile.

4. Navigate to the Groups and Roles section.

Here, you'll see all the groups you're associated with, including:

• Imported Groups: Synced from your student administration system (e.g., Esis, Parnassys).

• Manually Created Groups: Groups you've set up within the Ziber Team app.

Disconnecting from an Imported Group

To remove yourself from an imported group:

1. In the Groups and Roles section, locate the imported group you wish to leave.

2. Tap the toggle switch next to the group to disable it.

3. Confirm the action when prompted.

What Happens When You Disconnect

Once disconnected from an imported group:

• You will no longer receive notifications related to this group, such as:

  • Student absences

  • Messages or publications from colleagues

  • Replies to group messages

• You will not be listed as a teacher for this group in the Kwieb app.

• The group will not appear by default when publishing messages.

• You will not have access to student management features for this group, such as inviting new parents.

• You cannot create a conversation planner for this group.

• You cannot view permissions associated with this group.

Reconnecting to a Group

If you wish to rejoin a previously disconnected group:

1. In the Groups and Roles section, locate the group.

2. Tap the toggle switch next to the group to enable it.

3. The switch will turn green, indicating you are reconnected to the group.
