Groups & Visibility in Ziber Team
In Ziber Team, the visibility of messages depends on the groups you use and the team members assigned to them. This ensures that only relevant people see and manage specific communications.
Summary
This article explains how group-based visibility works in Ziber Team and how your role and group assignment affect what you see.
Group Visibility Rules
Each team member sees only the groups and messages they are assigned to.
You only see messages sent to groups you are a part of
You can only send messages to the groups you're assigned to
You cannot view messages from other groups unless you're also assigned to them
Example
A teacher assigned to “Group 3A” will only see:
Messages sent to “Group 3A”
Students and parents linked to “Group 3A”
This teacher will not see messages from “Group 4B” unless explicitly added to that group
🔒 This setup ensures privacy and keeps communication focused and manageable.
Communication Manager Role
A user with the Communication Manager role:
Has access to all groups within the school
Can see and manage all messages
Can assign other team members to groups as needed

View or edit which groups they are linked to
Best Practices
