When Do Parents Receive Notifications in Kwieb?

When the school or childcare organization posts a new message in Ziber Team (e.g., a news item, activity, or poll), parents see it appear in the timeline of the Kwieb app.

When do parents receive a notification?

Parents receive a notification when:

  • A new message is posted for one of their groups.

  • A poll is posted or updated.

  • A response is given to a poll or message.

  • They are mentioned in a group.

  • A reminder is sent for an activity or poll.

  • An important message is sent (marked by the school team).

Types of notifications parents may receive:

  • Push notification on their phone or tablet.

  • Email (if enabled in settings).

  • Notification badge in the Kwieb app.

Can parents adjust their notification preferences?

Yes, in the Kwieb app:

  • Go to Menu > Settings > Notification preferences.

  • Parents can enable or disable push and/or email notifications.

Important messages marked as such by the school team will be sent with mandatory notifications, regardless of the parent's preferences.
