Activating the ESIS Data Integration

There is a secure data integration between ParnasSys and the Ziber platform. This integration ensures safe and automated data transfer of relevant information from ParnasSys to the Ziber platform. This article explains which data is exchanged and how it is processed.

What data is transferred from the Ziber platform to ParnasSys?

ParnasSys does not support receiving or processing data from external platforms such as Ziber. Therefore, no data is sent from Ziber to ParnasSys.

How is the data used within the Ziber platform?

What are the advantages over manual EDEXML import?

More secure
You no longer need to manually create and manage separate EDEXML files at school. The integration provides a direct and secure connection between the platforms, without third-party involvement. You remain in full control of the integration.

Combination groups
The integration includes combination groups, which are imported both by year group and as a unified combination group. This allows you to easily communicate with an entire class.

Subgroups
Unlike the manual EDEXML import, this integration also includes subgroups from ParnasSys. This makes it much easier for the school team to share information with the appropriate parent groups via Ziber Team and Kwieb. You can enable or disable subgroups in Ziber Team settings.

Future students
If students who will soon start at your school have already been added in ParnasSys, they will automatically be transferred to the Ziber platform. You can then decide when to invite their parents to Kwieb. This was not possible with the manual EDEXML import.

Parent email addresses
The integration also reads in parent email addresses, allowing Kwieb invitations to be prepared automatically. This feature is not available with the manual EDEXML import.
