ParnasSys Data Integration – What Data is Exchanged?

Ziber offers a secure data integration with ParnasSys. This integration enables the safe transfer of relevant student and school data from ParnasSys to the Ziber platform. This article explains which data is exchanged and how it is processed.

What Data Is Sent from the Ziber Platform to ParnasSys?

Currently, ParnasSys does not support the import of data from external platforms like Ziber. Therefore, no data is transferred from Ziber to ParnasSys.

How Is the Data Processed on the Ziber Platform?

Advantages Over Manual EDEXML Import

More Secure
There is no need to manually create and upload EDEXML files. The integration is direct and secure, with no third parties involved. Schools retain full control over the synchronization process.

Support for Combination Groups
The integration includes combination groups, allowing you to communicate directly with an entire class as a group, in addition to their year groups.

Support for Sub-Groups
Unlike standard EDEXML imports, this integration also includes sub-groups (e.g., subject-specific groups). This allows school staff to easily share information with targeted parent groups via Ziber Team and Kwieb. You can choose to enable or disable sub-groups in Ziber Team.

Future Students Already in ParnasSys
Students who are already registered in ParnasSys but haven’t started school yet are also included in the sync. You can choose whether to invite their parents to Kwieb. This was not possible with the manual EDEXML process.

Parent Email Invitations
Since the integration includes parent email addresses, Kwieb invitations can be prepared automatically—something the manual EDEXML process could not do.
