Closed Topics in Ziber Team

When a Topic conversation has ended, it is moved from the "New and Open" tab to the "Closed" tab.
A Topic can be closed manually or automatically after a period of inactivity.

Automatic Closure

A Topic is automatically closed after 4 weeks of inactivity—meaning no new messages or files have been shared during that time.

• 2 weeks before closure, both the teacher and the parent will receive a warning notification stating how many days remain before the Topic expires.
• If a new message is sent during this period, the timer resets and the Topic remains open.

Manually Closing a Topic

You can close a Topic manually at any time:

1. Open the Topic conversation.
2. Tap the menu icon (three dots) in the top right corner.
3. Select “Close Topic”.

💡 Tip: Once closed, you also have the option to delete the conversation.

⚠️ Important: Once a Topic is closed, it cannot be reopened.
To continue the conversation, you’ll need to start a new Topic with the parent.
